You can absolutely donate stocks and donor advised funds to Pedal the Cause. You can even apply these funds towards your ride or team fundraising!

To set up a stock or donor advised gift, email development@pedalthecause.org.

Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even triple the amount of your gift! Check with your company and ask your donors to do the same.  Ask PTC for matching gift buck slips, which you can include in your thank you notes to donors.

Ask your Human Resources Department if your company matches gifts. Send all completed matching gift forms to development@pedalthecause.org and we will do the rest!

Remember, many companies review requests on a quarterly basis, and six–eight weeks is a normal payout schedule ONCE approved. Ask your HR rep for the payout schedule. Submit your request early to ensure it is processed before the fundraising deadline!

List any item for Pedal the Cause and donate between 10-100% of the proceeds. After the item sells, PayPal Giving Fund, eBay’s nonprofit partner, collects your donated proceeds and eBay then credits your selling fees proportional to the amount donated. PayPal Giving Fund processes the donation and distributes it to Pedal the Cause. Learn more here.

Use your eScrip card every time you shop for groceries at Schnucks and they will donate up to 3% of your purchase to Pedal the Cause. Simply pick up a eScrip card at your local Schnucks store, register your card online with our Group ID 500045021, and start shopping! Learn more here.

Donate your birthday to Pedal the Cause! Let your friends and family know that instead of a traditional gift you would like them to help you create a world without cancer by making a donation to Pedal the Cause in your name. Sign up as a DIY fundraiser and you will receive a profile page you can customize and share, where your can receive donations directly!

On your special day, pay tribute to your guests by making a donation in their honor to Pedal the Cause. It’s a wonderful gift that will continue to touch hearts long after the “I do’s” are said.

We offer planned giving arrangements that are feasible for all income levels and include gifts from a will bequest, living trust, charitable gift annuity, variable life income trust, retirement plan, and life insurance.

Here is simple bequest language you can take to your attorney: “I give to Pedal the Cause, whose office address is 9288 Dielman Industrial Dr. St. Louis, MO 63132, ______ (insert either dollar amount or a percentage).” Tax ID 27-2233336

Many teams and individuals host fundraising events (i.e. golf outings, garage sales, happy hours, bake sales, raffle, trivia nights, etc.) throughout the year to raise funds and boost team camaraderie. Check out ideas for creative fundraising events in our Fundraising Toolkit.
