Ashley Saitta Honored with Powered by Hope Award

For the last ten years, Ashley Saitta has devoted countless hours and poured her heart into her work at Pedal the Cause.

Starting as an intern, she’s recently taken on the role of Director of Operations and Community Engagement and her leadership and insight have helped make Pedal the Cause what it is today.

Her commitment to Pedal is personal and she fundraises in honor of her brother Derek and father Don, as well as in memory of her mother-in-law Barb.

Ashley recently received the Powered by Hope award, presented by Powered by Hope founder and chairwoman Teri Griege. The award is given annually to a healthcare worker, volunteer or community member who goes above and beyond to provide hope, peace, inner strength and education to cancer patients and their families. As a board member and team captain of Powered by Hope, Teri has had the chance to get to know Ashley over the years and knew she would be a wonderful choice for this year’s award.
